Autumn in the Chilterns has quite stunning and has only just been ‘blown-away’ by some pretty disagreeable weather. Pictures are being processed and will appear in the next 2-weeks. With Christmas looming - did you know that it’s in December again this - year and only 4 weeks away, my photography will have to remain local. January and February 2011 will be the months for the coast and I’ll be in Sussex and South Wales working to capture the energy and space of the coast in winter. Why not join me and work off your Christmas pudding?
I’m also continuing with a personal project photographing a single field at Manor Farm, Bradenham. This has been ongoing for the past 8 months or so using a digital compact camera. It started as a way of practising composition and capturing light at different times of the year but mainly at the same time of day. I recommend this as great way for developing your imagination and style. It gets you past that dry feeling of ‘there’s nothing interesting to photograph around here’. Pictures are all around you – they are simply hiding and waiting for you to create them.
Now it’s back to creating more pictures for the website………………….
