The shorter days of Autumn are a blessing.Sunrise at 0700 is much more civilised than the very early dawns of Summer. I never look my best first thing in the morning - well who does - so combine that with emerging from under the dark cloth and it’s a recipe for scaring the wits out of any passer-by and in the case of dog-walkers, their Scoobydoo too!
Late October and November offer wonderful opportunities for creative woodland photography and here in the Chiltern’s we have plenty beech woods. So it’s ‘to the woods’. I am also heading for South Wales again; this will become my personal Yosemite.
In October and November there will be 4 Large format workshops which are limited to 2 people on each workshop. Dates are flexible and are fixed to suit the needs of participants; so if you want to learn Large Format photography, do get in touch using the Contact page.
I’m delighted with the sales of pictures that have been bought for Christmas presents this year. The wonderful thing about pictures is that they keep giving pleasure year after year and friends, family, loved ones will always remember that you chose something for them that is different, gives pleasure every day and has lasting value.
