The North West of Scotland is as dramatic as it is unpredictable. Days of driving rain can be followed by the most beautiful light. This gallery shows both. Here in Scotland, you find the UK’s wilderness.

The pictures are designed to be viewed on a PC computer screen. The on-screen appearance of the photographs is as good as technology allows. However, most computer screens are not able to display the true depth and range of colours in the actual photograph.
